Although I’m directly in Apple’s target market: young, student, designer, I’ve never fallen for all the hype, until… I discovered iLife.

This past summer my husband and I took a trip with his family, when we got back I volunteered to put the picture book together for everybody. I searched for a program that would make this easy to do on my PC, then I decided to try it on a Mac. Picture books, movies, music…THAT is where Mac’s strength lies. Even something as simple as viewing pictures was made easier, you don’t have to rotate or date the pictures, everything is organized as you upload the pictures.

I got distracted for  hours on the movie, it couldn’t be easier you can add transitions, captions, music and more to make an extremely professional looking movie. I can’t tell you how impressed everyone was when we showed the movie at the family reunion.

So while I still stand behind my Lenovo as being the best computer for me personally, I cannot deny the creative power that comes with a Mac. For anyone interested in designing, music or even making great photo keepsakes for the family, a Mac is a great tool to have in your arsenal.
